Skin is a metabolic organ
Eczema, dullness, slow wound healing, fine lines — almost everything we read on the skin is a downstream signal of what is happening inside the cell. Three things drive most visible skin trouble: chronic low-grade inflammation, oxidative damage, and an ATP deficit that prevents keratinocytes from repairing and renewing.
Topical creams address the surface. They do not address the cell. That is why eczema often returns within weeks of stopping a steroid cream — the inflammatory drive at the cellular level was never resolved.
What the cell-culture studies showed
In keratinocyte cell-culture models, Floradyle Essence matched the anti-inflammatory effect of dexamethasone — one of the most potent corticosteroids in clinical use — without the side-effect profile that makes long-term steroid use problematic for the skin barrier.
More importantly, it activated the proteasome — the cellular machinery that recycles damaged and oxidised proteins. Proteasome activity declines with age and is one of the proximate drivers of cellular senescence. And it raised intracellular ATP, giving keratinocytes the energy they need to actually rebuild the barrier.
Eczema, atopic skin and the barrier
Atopic and eczematous skin is barrier-disrupted skin: tight junctions are loose, transepidermal water loss is high, and the immune system is in a chronic state of low-grade alarm. Calming the alarm without rebuilding the barrier traps the patient on long-term steroid dependence.
Cascade-fermented polyphenols, peptidoglycans and L(+) lactic acid intervene at both ends — they down-regulate the inflammatory cascade and supply the metabolic substrate for barrier repair. Many users report visible improvement in 4–8 weeks.
How to use it for skin
Daily oral dose of 20 ml addresses the skin barrier from within. For acute flare-ups, some users dilute Floradyle Essence 1:1 with distilled water in a small spray bottle and mist the affected area twice daily — the L(+) lactic acid restores the slightly acidic 'acid mantle' of healthy skin and the polyphenols calm local inflammation.
Patch-test on the inner forearm for 24 hours before broader topical use, especially on broken skin.
